Entry Requirements

To work as a qualified AAO meat inspector you must have:
▪ MTM30311 Certificate III in Meat Processing (Meat Safety) qualification.

▪ You must then achieve the MTM 40211 Certificate IV Meat Processing (Meat Safety) qualification within 12 months of appointment.

To join us as a trainee meat inspector, you will need:

▪ Minimum three years experience in the meat processing industry.

We will train suitable candidates from scratch, and support you in this role while you work towards gaining Certificate IV.
